Certificate II in Automotive Servicing Technology - AUR20520

Home / Automotive – Mechanical & Electrical / Certificate II in Automotive Servicing Technology – AUR20520

Picked up your servicing skills in a family workshop rather than a classroom? That’s exactly who AUR20520 was built to recognise. We put your experience into a proper portfolio and hand it to one of our partnered RTOs for formal assessment and certification.

    INTRODUCTIOn

    Qualification Overview

AUR20520 is usually the first formal qualification for people entering automotive servicing — safety checks, batteries, brakes, cooling, steering and suspension maintenance.

There’s no licensing or certification requirement attached to it, and it’s commonly delivered through an Australian Apprenticeship. For people who’ve picked up these skills informally, RPL is a straightforward way to have that experience formally recognised.

The Certificate II Automotive Servicing Technology reflects the knowledge of an individual working in the automotive service, repair and retail industry. The individual will be responsible for performing a variety of servicing tasks.
