Been installing, wiring and servicing vehicle electrical components for a while now, without a certificate to match? AUR20420 is the entry-level electrical qualification built for exactly that situation, and our RPL process can turn your experience into a formal result through one of our partnered training organisations.

    INTRODUCTIOn

    Qualification Overview

AUR20420 covers the basics of installing, assembling and servicing electrical components and systems in motor vehicles — the foundation everything else in auto electrical work is built on.

It’s often the first stop for people entering the trade, whether through an apprenticeship or by having existing hands-on experience formally recognised. Where RPL applies, we help document that experience and hand it to one of our partnered RTOs to assess.

This qualification reflects the role of individuals who perform a range of tasks relating to installing, assembling and servicing electrical components and systems of motor vehicles in the automotive electrical installation, service and repair technology sector.
