    INTRODUCTIOn

    Qualification Overview

This qualification provides a trade outcome in solid plastering — applying plaster, cement and other mixtures to create smooth or decorative wall finishes, plus rendering to exterior walls.

There’s no formal entry requirement, and it’s commonly delivered through an apprenticeship. RPL suits solid plasterers and renderers formalising their trade skills.

Certificate III in Solid Plastering or Cement Rendering recognises a range of skills and experiences of people who have not completed their qualifications. By converting your hard work as a plasterer into a nationally recognised certificate, we will help you attain the subjects and qualifications needed to obtain your plastering contractor’s licence. This certification is available to local students who are yet to complete their studies in Australia, and experienced plasterers alike. Programs are available to migrants looking to fast-track their qualifications based on Australian standard experience and requirements. Upon qualification, you can submit a solid plasterer’s licence application.
